Hill Country Christmas Lights

The Holiday season is such a beautiful sight to see in the Hill Country with all of the festive lights! We have compiled a list of the must-see's this season.

Holiday Lights on the River Walk
is a must see during the holiday season.  Holiday lights are on the downtown portion of the River Walk! San Antonio River Authority has added lights North of Downtown in the Pearl District.

Kerrville
Every evening in December visitors can see a 45-foot tall community tree with more than 14,000 Christmas lights. at the Kerr County Courthouse at 700 Main St. Along with many private commercial Christmas displays put up around the community. Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce also host a contest of decorated snowmen throughout the community. 

Fredericksburg
A giant tree and Christmas pyramid share the spotlight at the Marktplatz. There is also a an outdoor ice skating rink called Eisbahn, which will be opened through New Year's Day.

Johnson City
The Johnson City Light Spectacular Event is a sight to see. Every year the Pedernales Electrical Co-Op Headquarters features an entire block of magnificent old oak trees strung with one million lights covering the entire caJohnson-City.jpgnopy of each tree. Downtown Johnson City Memorial Park is stuffed with colorful lighted trees, figures, and presentations. Almost every business and homes participate in the holiday lighting event, which makes Johnson City a must see during the holiday season!

Llano
Starry Starry Nights features Christmas lights strung along the Llano  River. Enjoy a walk through the lighted archway that begins with hot chocolate and ends with Santa on the Weekends!

Boerne
Christmas Light Fest at Don Strange Ranch offers the most dazzling family entertainment in the San Antonio Area! Visit with Santa on the weekends! Don-Strange.jpg
