Amber's professional career began in education when she graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Soon after she began her family and chose to stay home with her children while they were little. Next, she opened a successful women's boutique and her entrepreneurial spirit flourished in sales. A few years later, her family decided to move back home to the Hill Country. She sold her store and found that real estate coupled her love for educating others and helping people buy & sell homes was a match made in heaven for her! Richard has been in marketing and sales for most of his adult life. After a five year stint in the military, Richard attended Loyola University of the South where he majored in Computer Science. Following school, he worked for 5 years as a Programmer and Systems Analyst for major firms in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. It was at this time he decided to switch his focus to professional sales. He has held various licenses in Securities, property/casualty, life insurance and most recently Real Estate. Richard has been successful, both as a business owner and in various sales related roles. In 2008, Richard and his wife of 51 years, Louise, moved to Comanche Trace. Richard looks forward to utilizing his knowledge, familiarity, and love of the community as well as its residents to promote the lifestyle, property, and many amenities Comanche Trace has to offer through real estate marketing and sales.

Tim was born and raised in a quite suburb of Houston, Texas. He attended Texas State Technical College in Waco and finished his degree in Culinary Arts at The Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, California at Greystone Campus. He has worked Fine Dining establishments and Country Clubs for the past 17 years. Locally, he has worked at Riverhill Country Club, Boot Ranch, and now here at Comanche Trace. Tim also has vast experience in Banquets and Catering from Sodexo, where he was the Catering Chef and also guest Chef for other sister units throughout Texas. He also worked at several Country Clubs in southwest Florida. One of which was Cypress Lakes Country Club. The golf course at Cypress Lakes Country Club was designed by Patty Berg (LPGA founder). During his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and fishing with his wife Autumn and son Korey.
Originally from Midland, Texas, Gena and her family moved to Kerrville in 1987 to work in the art publishing business, representing several artists associated with the Cowboy Artists of America. Gena has 17 years of experience in the health care industry, and worked for the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce as their Member Relations representative before joining the team at Comanche Trace. Gena and her husband Jack have two children, a daughter and son, Heather & Justin, and a grandson, Cole. Gena's favorite pastime is playing golf and spending time with her family and friends.
Head Golf Professional
Tony Johnson, Class "A" member of the PGA, came to Comanche Trace from Escondido Golf Club in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, where he served as First Assistant Golf Professional managing the golf operations of a newly developed private club. Tony is an accomplished player, finishing 16th in the 2007 National Assistants Championship, 39th in the 2007 PGA National Championship, and 10th in the 2007 Southern Texas PGA Section Championship.
1st Assistant Golf Professional
Joe attedned St. John Fisher College where he played golf for 4 years. He earned All-American honors his senior year and placed 12th in nationals. After graduating he moved to Palm Beach Florida where he played on various mini tours and eventually became an Assistant Golf Professional at Frenchman’s Creek Beach and Country Club. From here he accepted an Assistant Golf Professional Position at The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch where he worked for two years. During his time there he qualified for the Assistants Championship in Florida and made it to the semi-finals in the Pro-Pro Match Play Championship.
2nd Assistant Golf Professional
Logan was born and raised in Kerrville. After graduating from Tivy High School in 2008, he attended college in Austin for 3 years before moving back home. Upon his return he entered the medical field and had started work towards obtaining his RN license but soon realized that was not what he wanted to do. In November 2012 he joined the staff at Comanche Trace. Logan started in outside services and worked his way up to 2nd Assistant Golf Professional. He loves golf, and when not working you can usually find him on the golf course. He resides with his brother, Koley, their cat, Jack Bower, and Miniature Australian Sheppard, Killy.
Starter/ Tournament Director for James Avery Invitational
In 2005, after living in Houston and working in the auto industry for 30 years, Jay and his wife Tracey moved to Comanche Trace. Jay has been with Comanche Trace for 3 years and is the Tournament Director for the 2016 James Avery Invitational. Jay and his wife have one son, Colin, who is serving in the U.S. Navy.
Certified Golf Course Superintendent
Scott Parker graduated from Mississippi State University in 1981, (cum laude) with a B.S. degree in Turfgrass Management. Scott arrived at Comanche Trace before construction began and has been the superintendent throughout the construction and maturation of the course until the present day. Scott and his wife, Lisa, have one daughter.
Michael joined Comanche Trace in 2004. Prior to that he was the controller for one of the largest home owners’ associations in Texas, Pecan Plantation Owners’ Association and Country Club in Granbury, where he worked for eight years. He graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in accounting in 1998 and received his CPA license shortly thereafter. He and his family moved to Kerrville for the opportunity to be part of a vibrant, growing organization and community.
Human Resource Manager/Accounting
A native of the hill country, Le Ann was born in Junction and moved to Kerrville in 2000. Le Ann graduated from Schreiner University with a B.B.A. in Accounting/Information Systems and has over 19 years experience in the accounting field. She joined Comanche Trace in May 2010 as the Human Resource Manager and is part of the accounting team. She has one daughter, Kristin.
Growing up in Kerrville, Ashley graduated from Tivy High School in 2003. She joined Comanche Trace in 2010 while attending Schreiner University, earning her B.A. in Psychology with extensive accounting courses. Ashley and her husband Eloy have three children and enjoy being involved in their school and sports activities.

Executive Assistant to the President
Laura was born and raised in Kerrville. She graduated from Tivy High School and attended Schreiner University. Laura has over 20 years of experience working as an Executive/ Administrative Assistant and is married to her high school sweetheart, James. They have 3 children and are very involved with their activities.
After graduating from Vernon High School in 2005, Colby attended Texas A&M University where she graduated with a B.S. in Sports Management with a minor in Business. Colby continued on to work in sales and marketing in College Station before relocating to Kerrville. She joined the Comanche Trace team in 2011 and is now the Marketing Manager. She loves the Hill Country and the Comanche Trace Community.
Al is an Alabama native and Auburn alumni with degrees in chemistry, math, and physics. He has worked as a bench chemist with Ciba Geigy, as well as a chromatograph salesman for Tracor. After retirement, Al begin restoring old Victorian homes, which eventually led him to the oldest continuous use home in Kerr County. He and Reggie moved back to Texas to restore it. While doing that restoration he contracted several special projects for Comanche Trace, prior to accepting a full-time position with them in 2011.
Community Association Manager
Raised in Northern Virginia, Ken earned a BS degree in Business at American Univ. in Washington D.C. and added an MS in Management from USC, Los Angeles on his way to a successful 23 year career as a Marine Corps officer and pilot. He became involved in land use and environmental planning with the governing board for the County of Orange, California relating to numerous development permitting projects, including several golf course communities. Ken held public office Chairing the Planning Commission for the master-planned City of Irvine. Here in Texas, Ken has been on the board for his own community serving first on the Architectural Review then as Board President. Active in civic affairs, he was involved in the downtown advisory group and on the board of Central Kerrville Development Committee. Ken joined our Comanche Trace team in 2015 as our first “on-site” Community Association Manager. Ken enjoys fishing, camping, and RV travel with his wife, Carolyn, of 40 years.
Christian is a native of Kerrville, Texas. Her paternal great grandfather setlled here in the late 1800's. She resides on her family ranch and enjoys watching all of the wildlife around their houses. Christian attended Bouder Fashion College in Arlington, Texas and received her associates degree in Fashion & Merchandising and has been in the retail/customer service field for 28 years. She loves helping people find what they are looking for and is excited to be the welcoming face you see and voice you hear at Comanche Trace.
